How to enable Desktop Notifications on a specific browser?

Google Chrome:

To enable the desktop notification on Google Chrome, follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to your Google Chrome web browser.
  2. Select “Menu” (the 3 vertical dots) in the top right corner of Google Chrome.
  3. Select “Settings” at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the settings page and expand the advanced section.
  5. Scroll down to the bottom of the “Privacy and security” section.
  6. Select “Content Settings”.
  7. Select “Notifications”, fifth from the top.
  8. Under “Notifications”, you will find “Ask before sending”, “Block” and “Allow”, it is recommended to leave the “Ask before sending” toggle on.
  9. Identify chainex.io under either “Block” or “Allow”, if you can’t identify chainex.io, follow these steps here.
  10. If you identify chainex.io under “Block”, select the menu logo (3 vertical dots) next to it.
  11. And change its status to allow.

From this point, you will receive any and all notifications on your desktop.

Microsoft Edge:

To enable the desktop notification on Microsoft Edge, follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to your Microsoft Edge web browser.
  2. Select “menu” (the 3 horizontal dots) in the top right corner.
  3. Select “Settings” at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
  4. Scroll down to “Advanced settings”
  5. Select “View Advanced settings”
  6. Scroll down to “Website permissions”
  7. Select “Manage”
  8. Identify “ChainEX”, if you can’t identify ChainEX, follow these steps here.
  9. Select “ChainEX”, make sure the notification toggle is on.

From this point, you will receive any and all notifications on your desktop.

Firefox:

To enable the desktop notification on Firefox, follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to your Firefox web browser.
  2. Select “menu” (the 3 horizontal lines) in the top right corner.
  3. Select “Options” in the center of the drop-down menu.
  4. Select “Privacy and security” on the left of the options page.
  5. Scroll down to the “Permissions” section
  6. Select “settings” beside Notifications.
  7. Identify chainex.io, if you can't identify chainex.io, follow these steps here.
  8. Next to chainex.io, under status, make sure it says allow
  9. If not, simply change the status from block to allow.
  10. Select “Save Changes”.

From this point, you will receive any and all notifications on your desktop.

Safari:

For those Mac users to enable the desktop notification on Safari, follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to your Safari web browser.
  2. Select “Safari” on the top left of the screen.
  3. In the drop-down menu, select “Preferences”
  4. Select “Websites”
  5. Under websites, select “Notifications”
  6. Identify chainex.io, if you can not identify the ChainEX URL, follow these steps here.

From this point, you will receive any and all notifications on your desktop.
